Atlanta based heavy metal outfit HellBent have released an official music video for the track, “ReBirth”, taken from their upcoming album of the same name. The ‘ReBirth’ album is set to be released Friday, September 20th, 2019 via Swimming With Sharks Records. The label will also be releasing the band’s entire back catalog; including the albums ‘Southern Brutality’ (2014), There Will Be Violence (2015) and ‘The American Demise’ (2016).

Ritual of Odds from Greece
Melodic death metal outfit Ritual of Odds from Greece have signed a Worldwide deal with Swimming With Sharks Records. The band’s third studio album ‘Ritual of IX’ was recorded at StudiOdds Recording Studio and was mixed & mastered by John Mcris. The band takes influences from bands such as At The Gates, In Flames, and Carcass and have been called the ‘Melodic Death Metal Masters of Greece’ by Axis of Metal (Canada).
Label founder Noah “Shark” Robertson (Motograter/Ex-The Browning) states: “Patras, Greece… What a great find! The moment I heard “Ritual of 9” I knew this band was something special. They give me the same feeling I got the first time I listened to At The Gates or In Flames. They have all the elements of a melodic death metal powerhouse!”

Ritual of Odds formed in 2003, originally under the moniker Existence Edge, but changed the name in 2005 and began work on their ‘Building up the Underverse’ Demo. In 2008, the band played this material live on stage for the first time and received great reviews, encouraging them to begin working on their debut full length album ‘Underverse’; which was released in early 2010. At the end of that same year, the band recorded their 2nd full length album ‘God is an Atheist’, which was very well received. The band toured Europe and the US, in support of the release, performing with bands such as OMEN (USA), PAUL DI’ANNO (UK), SEPTIC FLESH (GR) and NIGHTRAGE (SW). The band is often described as Melodic Death Metal, but many influences can be heard. Ritual of Odds have forged a unique sound by infusing elements of thrash, horror and epic metal into their own, creative brand of melodic death.

‘There Will Be Violence’ – Hellbent
Hellbent’s new album “There Will Be Violence” is out now via Swimming With Sharks Records.
The disc contains 5 hard hitting tracks, “Number 15”, “Atoadaso”, “There Will Be Violence”, H.F.S., and “Draw The Line”. Touring in support of their latest effort, the band kicks off the ‘There Will Be Violence’ Tour, Friday March 13th in Montgomery, Alabama at The Head On The Door venue with I Am Hostile. (Due to unforeseen circumstances, Primer 55 has had to drop off the show.)
Hellbent’s, Mike Daniels states: “We’ve been working hard for the last 9 months on this new EP and are very excited to finally be releasing it this Friday, March 13th. It is part one of a two part series that we’re doing. Part 2 we anticipate being released later this year.”

Swimming With Sharks Records (USA) is proud to announce the signing of melodic metal heavyweights, Eye of the Enemy, from Melbourne, Austraila. The band recently released their sophmore album, the critically acclaimed ‘The Vengeance Paradox’ and has just completed an Australian tour with Children Of Bodom, to support this latest effort.
In regards to the signing, the band has released the following statement; “Eye of the Enemy are ecstatic to sign with Swimming with Sharks for the release of our new album ‘The Vengeance Paradox’ expanding our music into new territories. Swimming with Sharks is a great fit for us, we are honoured to be part of their outstanding artist roster and look forward to working together.”
Eye of the Enemy have been dominating the Australian metal scene since 2006 with the release of their Demo and subsequent self-titled E.P in 2008. In 2010, the band released their first full length album, ‘Weight of Redemption’, which was recieved with much fanfare and critical acclaim, being nominated for album of the year against metal heavyweights across the globe; with standout tracks such as “A Reason for Treason”, “Facade”, and “Peace”. In support of their debut release, Eye of the Enemy performed several notable shows and national tours with international acts such as Amon Amarth, At the Gates, Cradle of Filth, Despised Icon, Malevolent Creation, and more; along with some festival appearances such as Screamfest Metal Festival (Edguy, Ensifirum, Cynic, Dark Funeral, Destroyer 666) and the infamous Sonic Forge Festival.
The band plans to keep a rigorous touring schedule through the rest of the year, which is currently being handled byWelkin Entertainment.

SWS signs Hellbent, releases ‘Southern Brutality’
Swimming With Sharks Records is pleased to announce the signing of Alabama’s premier Southern Metal outfit, HellBent, to a Worldwide Distribution Deal. The band’s latest effort, ‘Southern Brutality’, features 10 heavy hitting metal masterpieces, chocked full of groove, sludge, and death metal goodness. The band has made a name for themselves throughout Alabama and has no plans to stop anytime soon, as the band is set to perform a number of upcoming shows, including a few dates with Philip Anselmo’s Housecore Records band, Warbeast, in August 2014.
Guitarist and founding member, Mike Daniels, comments, “This is truly one of the greatest days in the history of HellBent. Today we officially become part of the Swimming With Sharks Records family. We talked to a number of labels, but few offered us something that would not only be a label contract, but also a partnership. We are very appreciative and grateful to SWS for showing faith in us and wanting to share this journey with us. The project is a solo effort from producer and multi-instrumentalist, Corey Jason, and can best be described as extreme, experimental metal and/or avant-garde death metal.
