Atlanta based heavy metal outfit HellBent have released an official music video for the track, “ReBirth”, taken from their upcoming album of the same name. The ‘ReBirth’ album is set to be released Friday, September 20th, 2019 via Swimming With Sharks Records. The label will also be releasing the band’s entire back catalog; including the albums ‘Southern Brutality’ (2014), There Will Be Violence (2015) and ‘The American Demise’ (2016).

Ritual of Odds from Greece
Melodic death metal outfit Ritual of Odds from Greece have signed a Worldwide deal with Swimming With Sharks Records. The band’s third studio album ‘Ritual of IX’ was recorded at StudiOdds Recording Studio and was mixed & mastered by John Mcris. The band takes influences from bands such as At The Gates, In Flames, and Carcass and have been called the ‘Melodic Death Metal Masters of Greece’ by Axis of Metal (Canada).
Label founder Noah “Shark” Robertson (Motograter/Ex-The Browning) states: “Patras, Greece… What a great find! The moment I heard “Ritual of 9” I knew this band was something special. They give me the same feeling I got the first time I listened to At The Gates or In Flames. They have all the elements of a melodic death metal powerhouse!”

Ritual of Odds formed in 2003, originally under the moniker Existence Edge, but changed the name in 2005 and began work on their ‘Building up the Underverse’ Demo. In 2008, the band played this material live on stage for the first time and received great reviews, encouraging them to begin working on their debut full length album ‘Underverse’; which was released in early 2010. At the end of that same year, the band recorded their 2nd full length album ‘God is an Atheist’, which was very well received. The band toured Europe and the US, in support of the release, performing with bands such as OMEN (USA), PAUL DI’ANNO (UK), SEPTIC FLESH (GR) and NIGHTRAGE (SW). The band is often described as Melodic Death Metal, but many influences can be heard. Ritual of Odds have forged a unique sound by infusing elements of thrash, horror and epic metal into their own, creative brand of melodic death.

Swimming With Sharks Records (USA) is proud to announce the signing of melodic metal heavyweights, Eye of the Enemy, from Melbourne, Austraila. The band recently released their sophmore album, the critically acclaimed ‘The Vengeance Paradox’ and has just completed an Australian tour with Children Of Bodom, to support this latest effort.
In regards to the signing, the band has released the following statement; “Eye of the Enemy are ecstatic to sign with Swimming with Sharks for the release of our new album ‘The Vengeance Paradox’ expanding our music into new territories. Swimming with Sharks is a great fit for us, we are honoured to be part of their outstanding artist roster and look forward to working together.”
Eye of the Enemy have been dominating the Australian metal scene since 2006 with the release of their Demo and subsequent self-titled E.P in 2008. In 2010, the band released their first full length album, ‘Weight of Redemption’, which was recieved with much fanfare and critical acclaim, being nominated for album of the year against metal heavyweights across the globe; with standout tracks such as “A Reason for Treason”, “Facade”, and “Peace”. Swimming With Sharks Records is pleased to announce the signing of Alabama’s premier Southern Metal outfit, HellBent, to a Worldwide Distribution Deal. The band’s latest effort, ‘Southern Brutality’, features 10 heavy hitting metal masterpieces, chocked full of groove, sludge, and death metal goodness. The band has made a name for themselves throughout Alabama and has no plans to stop anytime soon, as the band is set to perform a number of upcoming shows, including a few dates with Philip Anselmo’s Housecore Records band, Warbeast, in August 2014.
Guitarist and founding member, Mike Daniels, comments, “This is truly one of the greatest days in the history of HellBent. Today we officially become part of the Swimming With Sharks Records family. SWS signs The Conjuration, releases ‘Surreal’
Swimming With Sharks Records has officially announced the addition of, The Conjuration, to their roster of artists. The project is a solo effort from producer and multi-instrumentalist, Corey Jason, and can best be described as extreme, experimental metal and/or avant-garde death metal. The band’s latest effort ‘Surreal’ is currently available to stream and download and boasts 8 insane tracks and a free bonus track featuring a cover of “F(r)iend from In Flames.
The Conjuration mastermind, Corey Jason states, “After almost 10 years of diligently learning and perfecting my craft, it’s a dream come true that my labors of love have been discovered! Swimming With Sharks Records is pleased to announce the addition of the Atlanta, Georgia death metal act The Terrigen Mist to it’s roster of bands. The band recently completed work on their debut full length album, Leveyan, recorded in Athens, GA at Rising Tides Studio with Anthony Lunn.
Vocalist Ian Nix comments, “We are very happy to be working with Swimming With Sharks Records and we are quite proud to be releasing our first full length, ‘Laveyan’, through them. This label is definitely keeping the indie spirit alive and we look forward to all the positive things that are to come from our new partnership.”
The band formed in 2008 in Greenville, SC and have been making a name for themselves ever since through relentless performing and touring the East Coast. Prior to their full length album, Laveyan, The Terrigen Mist have released two EPs – ‘A Requiem Infernal’ and ‘Metaphysics’. The band sites influences such as The Black Dahlia Murder, Converge, Cattle Decapitation, The Faceless, Watain, Deathspell Omega, Pantera, and more. Their sound can be described as death metal with heavy grindcore and black metal influence.

Springfield, Illinois underground death-metallers The Vile Impurity are embarking on another U.S. tour with Byleth from Omaha, Nebraska. The tour, booked by Teethcutter Agency, kicks off in Kansas City on Wednesday March 27th at Davey’s Uptown and will hit cities such as Shreveport LA, Fort Worth TX, Orlando FL, Atlanta GA, and many more including an appearance at West Texas Death Fest 2013 in Amarillo, Texas with Putrid Pile, Uncleansed, Shawn Whitaker, Abolishment of Flesh, and many more.

Mouth of the Serpent from Los Angeles, California is set to hit the road with Apparitions from Phoenix, Arizona on the Plague The West Tour 2013. Just a little over two weeks long, the West Coast tour will be hitting up cities like Los Angeles, Portland, Seattle, and many more.
Mouth of the Serpent has been obliterating the underground California Metal Scene since February of 2008. The band inked their first World-wide distribution deal in 2012, signing to Dallas, Texas based independent metal label, Swimming With Sharks Records. The band recently completed its latest offering, ‘Manifest’ at The Lunchbox Studios in Sun City, California with Dave Franklin (ANA KEFR, HANDS OF A KILLER). Manifest features the artwork of praised metal-artist Tony Koehl (THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, EMBRYONIC DEVOURMENT).
Mouth Of The Serpent was formed in Los Angeles, California in mid-2007, and since have been cutting out a unique place for themselves in the Los Angeles metal scene. The band blends elements of metal core and death metal with the melodic ways of progressive metal. Swimming With Sharks Records regretfully announces adding Forced Abortion from Palatine, Illinois to the roster. The band has been abusing ear drums and pissing people off since July 2012. The band is reminiscent of controversial grind-core/noise-core acts such as Anal Cunt (Earache Records). Most of the band’s appeal lies in their truly bizarre and often offensive album and song titles, such as the band’s “Swastika” EP, released in January of 2013, which features song titles such as “Acidic Cow Urine Drinking Fountain”, “Inverted Limb Buried Beneath a Pile of Paralyzed Horses”, “Pussy Cunt Cop Killer”, “Insane Clown Pussy”, and “It’s Holocaust Time”.
The band attracted the attention of Noah “Shark” Robertson from The Browning (Earache Records) and owner of Swimming With Sharks Records, by sending an email that simply read, “Sign us faggots.” Robertson comments, “At first I was thinking to myself, who the hell does that?! Once I checked out the band, I couldn’t stop laughing and knew I had to sign them to the label immediately. Do yourself a favor and add the band on Facebook! You won’t be disappointed… well, maybe a little.” One of the founding members, Cannibal, states: “This label sucks and I want to kill myself. When I was five years old, I tried killing my two month old brother by drowning him. I have aids.”
The band will be releasing their latest music masterpiece called ‘Violent Monkey Orgy’ which will be available world-wide on February 24, 2013 via Swimming With Sharks Records.
